When you consider that Pop was a ROBSON and he was a noreasterner.

Its a short leap to consider that there seems to be few bands in that part of the world.

I can recall the Animals. Lindisfarne. And Dire Straits and no one else.

Add some more if you can.

As essexmaniacinexile said, Lainey and Tony VF from the Rejects were both in Red Alert from Sunderland. Lainey also drummed in another Sunderland band Leatherface.
